"The Red Brick House in Georgia Town" is a fairly close form of "The Hillside" (known in<br> Hill Country Tunes as "Quadrille"), worked over into 4/4 time.<br> It was collected from Mrs. Sarah Armstrong, (near) Derry, Pennsylvania, November 18, 1943 by<br> Samuel Bayard.<br> Sets belonging to the 'Hillside' group include Journal of American Folk Lore, XXXI,<br> Thomas D'Urfy's Songs Compleat (1719),<br> Joyce's Old Irish Folk Music and Songs (1909),<br> O'Neill's O'Neill's Irish Music (1903),<br> O'Neill's Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies (1903),<br> White's Excelsior Collection as "Kennedy's Jig" and<br> Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes (1940).<br> It was printed in Bayard's Hill Country Tunes (1944).<br>
