Bayard.<br> Sarah called this tune simply "An Old Reel".<br> I have included it in the legacies section because<br> her name is now associated with the tune although<br> it was probably a traditional tune and not her<br> composition.<br> Sarah Armstrong (1883 - 1957) contributed 37 of the <br> 95 tunes in "Hill Country Tunes" making her the most<br> prolific source. Although she was accompanied by her<br> daughter on piano and her son on banjo, her children<br> did not pick up her repertoire and she was left as<br> its sole preserver. There are no known recordings<br> of her playing.<br>
